Fixed prices, luxury cars, and a chauffeur who knows London

What you get with Excel Chauffeurs

Fixed, VAT-inclusive prices. We confirm every quote in writing before you pay. We add parking and the Congestion Charge at cost and include them in the final price; any event-area or late-night supplement appears in the quote, never afterwards.

The right car for the job. Mercedes E-Class (Executive), Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7 Series (First Class), the latest S500/S580 (First Exclusive), Mercedes V-Class for up to six passengers, Range Rover, as well as the Senzati Jet Class MPV. All are no more than five years old, valeted before every job, with Wi-Fi, chargers and water on board.

Waiting time built in. 60 minutes at airports with live flight monitoring and a name board in arrivals; 30 minutes at private jet terminals and stations, while 15 minutes applies everywhere else.

Our chauffeurs and our licences

Excel Chauffeurs operates as a licensed private hire operator, while our chauffeurs hold private hire driver licences issued by Transport for London (TfL), Castle Point Borough Council or Hertsmere Borough Council. All three authorities require an enhanced DBS check, a medical and a licensed, insured vehicle, and licensed drivers may also carry out pre-booked journeys anywhere in the UK.

Beyond the legal minimum, we only work with chauffeurs who have at least three years’ experience as a professional chauffeur. Many also hold defensive driving training. Every chauffeur wears a suit, opens doors, handles luggage, plans the route around live traffic and follows a discretion brief: no conversation unless you start it, no comment on anything heard in the car, no photographs.

Finally, if a car is ever late, our On-Time Guarantee refunds 10%, 25% or 50% of the journey price depending on the delay, and the full price if the car is 15 minutes or more late and you choose to cancel.
