A wedding chauffeur in London costs from £288 including VAT for the four-hour minimum in a Mercedes E-Class, or £528 for a full eight-hour day, and the chauffeur waits with the car between the ceremony and the reception. What we provide on the day

• The couple’s car. A Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series, Range Rover or E-Class with a suited chauffeur for the journey to the ceremony, the transfer to the reception and, on a full-day booking, the departure at the end of the night.
• Cars for parents, the wedding party and guests. Additional cars run to the same timetable; meanwhile, the Mercedes V-Class carries up to six passengers for bridesmaids, groomsmen or family arriving together from a hotel. Several cars sit under one booking with one coordinator.
• Waiting included. Hourly hire is “as directed”: the chauffeur waits outside the church, register office or venue for as long as the ceremony and photographs take, then moves you on. In other words, there is no separate waiting charge within the hours booked.
• Multiple stops. Home or hotel to the ceremony, ceremony to a photography location, then on to the reception. We agree the route in advance and brief the chauffeur on every address as well as the contact number at each one.
• Timing for the photographer. We pace arrivals and departures to the photographer’s plan: for example, an unhurried arrival, a wait while the photographer takes the couple’s portraits, and a car in position and clean for the confetti.
• Guests flying in. We can also meet family arriving for the wedding at Heathrow, Gatwick or any London airport with a name board and 60 minutes of free waiting from landing; see our airport chauffeur service.

Which car for a wedding: 4-hour and full-day chauffeur prices

First, all prices include 20% VAT. Hourly hire has a four-hour minimum and includes 20 miles, plus 10 miles for each extra hour; a full day, meanwhile, is eight hours and includes 60 miles. We add the £18 Congestion Charge and any venue parking at cost into the fixed quote for your London wedding chauffeur before you confirm, and we bill nothing afterwards. Every car is under five years old, unmarked and valeted on the day. Compared with self-drive wedding car hire in London, a chauffeur-driven car means nobody in the wedding party drives, parks or stays sober for the journey home. A ceremony and reception at the same venue usually fit within four hours; a ceremony in one place, photographs in another and a reception across town is normally a full day, which costs less than eight hours at the hourly rate. How the wedding day runs with your chauffeur

• The week before. We confirm the timetable, addresses and contact numbers with you or your planner, and then assign a chauffeur briefed on the route, the parking at each venue and who to call on arrival.
• Collection. The chauffeur arrives ahead of the agreed time at the home or hotel, so the car is ready when you are. In addition, our On-Time Guarantee applies to every booking.
• The ceremony. We pace the arrival for the photographer. The chauffeur then waits with the car, in position and ready to leave when the ceremony ends.
• Between venues. The wedding car chauffeur does not hurry the departure and takes the route agreed in advance, with a stop for photographs if the timetable allows.
• The end of the night. On a full-day booking the chauffeur also returns for the departure. If an hourly booking ends at the reception, a separate one-way transfer from £120 can take the couple to their hotel or the airport later in the evening.

Ribbons and a bouquet on request

We do not sell decoration packages. If you would like ribbons on the car or a bouquet in the cabin, tell us when you book, with the colours, and we will arrange it. Otherwise we present the car exactly as we do for our corporate clients: unmarked and valeted, with bottled water, mints, phone chargers and an umbrella on board, which matters for a London wedding in any month.

Two other requests also come up often. For example, a female chauffeur for the bride’s car is available on request at no surcharge. Equally, where privacy matters, chauffeurs sign a non-disclosure agreement on request, do not photograph the day and do not discuss who they drive.

How much does a wedding chauffeur cost in London?

From £288 including VAT for four hours in a Mercedes E-Class, £360 in a Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series or six-passenger V-Class, and £528 in a Range Rover. A full eight-hour day is £528, £672 and £960 respectively, fixed before you confirm, with waiting time and 20 miles (four hours) or 60 miles (a day) included.

Does the chauffeur wait between the ceremony and the reception?

Yes, of course. Hourly and full-day hire include waiting time, so the chauffeur stays with the car during the ceremony and the photographs and is ready to leave when you are.

Can we book more than one car?

Yes, certainly. Many weddings in London book a car and wedding chauffeur for the couple as well as a V-Class for the wedding party or family, all under one booking with one coordinator. For larger groups, likewise, several V-Class MPVs can run between a hotel and the venue.

Can you decorate the car?

We can arrange ribbons and a bouquet on request. There is no decoration package, so tell us what you would like and the colours when you book; otherwise we present the car unmarked and valeted.

What if the ceremony runs late?

The chauffeur waits. We charge time beyond the hours booked at the car’s hourly rate, while changes on the day go through our 24/7 team by phone or WhatsApp.

Do you cover weddings outside London?

Yes, indeed. For venues in Surrey, Hertfordshire, Kent, Essex and beyond, out-of-town hire is £96 per hour with an eight-hour minimum as well as 150 miles included, £768 for the day. So send us the venues and we will quote whichever option costs less.

How do we pay, and when?

By Visa, Mastercard or American Express, with the full amount taken to secure the booking. The fixed quote includes the Congestion Charge, parking and tolls at cost, so we add nothing afterwards.
