Can I hire a driver for a day in London?
Yes. Full-day chauffeur hire with Excel Chauffeurs is 8 hours minimum at a reduced rate from £66 per hour — £528 for the day in an Executive Mercedes E-Class, or £672 in a First Class Mercedes S-Class, including VAT. Your chauffeur and car stay with you for the whole day.
How many miles are included in a full day?
60 miles within Greater London are included in an 8-hour day, plus 10 miles for every additional hour. For journeys outside London, our out-of-town rate from £96 per hour includes 150 miles in an 8-hour day, plus 25 miles per extra hour.
Is daily hire cheaper than hourly hire?
Yes. Hourly hire is from £72 per hour with a 4-hour minimum; from 8 hours the full-day rate drops to £66 per hour. If you need a chauffeur for most of the day, book the full-day rate.
Can I extend the day if my plans change?
Yes. Extra hours beyond your booking are charged at the same hourly rate, subject to your chauffeur's availability. Just let your chauffeur or our 24/7 team know.
Can I book a chauffeur for several days or a multi-day trip?
Yes. We provide the same chauffeur and vehicle for multi-day bookings across London and the UK, including trips to venues and events outside the capital. Contact us for a tailored quote.
Do the prices include VAT?
Yes, every price shown includes VAT at 20%. Corporate clients on an invoiced business account are quoted ex-VAT, for example £55 per hour for an Executive E-Class full day.
